MERLE EGGERS

Hi, I am a passionate graduate of Architecture who delights in helping clients conceptualise their design ideas. 

Architecture has always been and remains my passion – a passion I have pursued since graduating from the University of WA and combined with extensive travels in Europe, interrupted only to start and raise our young family.

 

Born in Germany and educated in Perth, Western Australia, I graduated from Methodist Ladies’ College in 1993 before embarking on a one-year student exchange programme to France. On my return to Perth I commenced university studies with a focus on architecture and graduated first with a Bachelor of Environmental Design then with a Bachelor of Architecture. 

I have more than 12 years' professional experience, including 10 years working in the Architecture sector.

Over that period, I have worked on a diverse range of projects including:

• high-end residential designs while working for Richard Szklarz Architects in Perth; 

• high school education projects in Perth while working for Bateman Architects and Donaldson + Warn Architects; and

• various office fit-out concepts and proposals while working for Researchitects in London.

Since 2016, I have carried out several private home internal renovation and alteration jobs of varying scale and complexity, with a focus on kitchens and bathrooms. This has consolidated with me the joy of enhancing key living spaces in the home environment.
